Event Details
Hello Friends and Family!
We’re really excited to celebrate our wedding with you, and extremely grateful to those who are able to make the trip out to Wrocław (pronounced “vrohts-wav”)! Below are a few more details on travel and venues. Of course, if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to either one of us, we’d love to help however we can.
We’ve also put together a more detailed travel guide here.
Getting There
Booking flights and arriving in Wrocław
You should be able to book a flight directly into Wrocław Airport (WRO) from anywhere in the US or Canada, the airport itself is about a 30 minute Uber from the hotel / wedding venue. Flight prices vary a bit, but you can usually purchase a round trip for $700-$900 from cities in the Midwest or East Coast. We’d recommend booking a flight 2-4 months before the wedding.
If you plan on traveling within Poland/Europe either before or after the wedding, there are good connections between Wrocław and most other major European cities. Trains can also be a good option for shorter trips within the region.

The Wedding Venue
The Bridge Hotel
Place Katedralny 8, Wrocław
50-329
We’d recommend you stay at the hotel, which also serves as the wedding venue, on the night of the wedding. It’s located on the historic Cathedral Island (Ostrów Tumski), which is about a 10-15 minute walk away from the city center. The entire area is beautiful, very walkable, and great for sightseeing and exploring.
To make a reservation, the hotel has requested that guests contact them directly using their email address for reservations:
When booking, please mention the code “filipcarissa”, in order to get the wedding discount.
Uber or a taxi is the easiest way to get from the airport to the hotel. Prices are relatively inexpensive compared to the US – an Uber is usually around $15 and a taxi about $20-$30.
Welcome Cocktails
Domek Nad Fosą
Podwale 29a, Wrocław
50-040
We are hosting a casual lunch with cocktails on Friday, July 11th (one day before the wedding), at Domek Nad Fosą, an open-air restaurant on the medieval city moat. The restaurant is approximately a 30 minute walk from The Bridge Hotel, though its also accessible by the number 10 tram and by taxi/Uber.
Additional Hotel Options
If you’re staying in Wrocław for several days, there are more affordable hotel options within a short tram or taxi ride of The Bridge. We’ve had good experiences with The Q Hotel and with apartment rentals, either through Airbnb or Booking.com. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions.
